Ultra Low Res Studio

Ultra Low Res Studio designs interactive and data-enabled experiences for the built environment. ULR works towards a future of "calm technology", in which people are less occupied by their personal devices and more mindful of their surroundings. In this future, architects and designers have a new opportunity to engage their audience with seamlessly integrated, interactive and insightful elements.

ULR Studio works with institutions, developers, architects and lighting designers to design, develop and embed dynamic light, sound and motion installations. ULR Studio is run by Jakob Marsico and a rotating group of collaborators. Marsico received a Masters of Tangible Interaction Design from Carnegie Mellon University and holds an adjunct instructor position there as well.
